Job Description
A Salesforce Consultant (Sr. Developer) is tasked with designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, administrators, and fellow Consultants to enhance CRM functionality and support enterprise operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and customizing Salesforce application as well as experienced in designing and implementing complex solutions for large enterprise businesses.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other platform tools.
• Create high-quality, scalable solutions that can support large and complex business needs.
• Work on integrations with other systems and ensure the overall solution is efficient and reliable.
• Review code, follow best practices, and ensure the quality and performance of delivered solutions.
• Collaborate with business users and product owners to understand what they need.
• Break down the needs into clear, easy-to-understand user stories with proper acceptance criteria.
• Help prioritize the backlog and make sure all stories are ready for development.
• Explain technical constraints or options to business stakeholders in simple terms.
• Design technical approaches for new features or changes. Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture in a variety of forums.
• Create diagrams, data models, and documentation to describe how the solution will work.
• Build reusable, testable modules and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with QA to ensure all requirements are testable and fully covered.
• Support deployments and help troubleshoot any production issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like standups, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
• Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and Salesforce platform best practices.
• Maintain documentation for solutions, code, and processes.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Salesforce applications, resolving production issues as they arise.
• Continuously look for ways to improve how the team builds and delivers solutions.
Required Experience/ Skills (Qualification)
• 7+ years of handson Salesforce development experience.
• Working in Omnistudio, LWC & Apex based custom solution delivery for last 1 year
• Proven ability to build complex, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise building solution using LWC, Apex and Omnistudio
• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, asynchronous processing, integrations, and platform limits.
• Strong experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration tools, and AppExchange products
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, integration patterns, and platform limits.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and release tools such as Copado, SFDX, Change Sets, Git-based version control
• Familiarity with quality assurance measures, including automated testing and static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, PMD, Checkmarx).
• Experience working in regulated or controlled environments (e.g., telecom, finance).
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing high-quality user stories.
• Experience in estimation techniques for development and deployment efforts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
• Preferably Salesforce Developer certified in more than 1 area of expertise (Platform Developer I/II, Omnistudio).
