Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in improving the efficiency and accuracy of our quoting and pricing processes, helping drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves working on individual development tasks, solving technical challenges, and ensuring high-quality coding and testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain price books, product rules, and discount schedules
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and finance teams to ensure accurate pricing strategies
• Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues and provide ongoing support
• Translate business and functional requirements into Salesforce solutions
• Write and review technical specifications for system components
• Work closely with development teams to implement software designs and enhancements
• Follow development best practices, coding standards, and code review processes
• Work in Agile or Waterfall development environments with key stakeholders
• Resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes
• Stay updated with new technologies and Salesforce platform advancements

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
• 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ administration and development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and discount structures
• Experience with product catalog setup, bundling, and configuration
• Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud)
• Knowledge of Salesforce integrations including CPQ, Pardot, ETM, Einstein Analytics
• Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, Data Loader, workflows, and triggers
• Strong knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, and data sharing rules
• Familiarity with Apex, Lightning (Aura), and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado or similar platforms

Additional Technical Exposure

• Programming languages: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, .NET
• Operating environments: Windows and UNIX
• Automation tools: Copado CRT, Jenkins, Selenium, Neoload (or similar)
• Knowledge of Siebel will be an added advantage
